I stole...
... this idea from Kristen at We Are THAT Family.
Then I stole this from her too.
And this is what we did with Kristen's ideas in our living room (which is almost redecorated. Almost. But not quite).

And this is what we did with Kristen's ideas in our living room (which is almost redecorated. Almost. But not quite).
It is such a wonderful feature which cost very little to make. It cost pennies for the photographs to be copied, the plates were 50 pence each and the quote was a very reasonable price (even with the shipping costs) from Quote the Walls. In fact, the overall cost came in at under £20 which makes me very happy!
So although I am embarrassed to admit that I stole Kristen's ideas due to being far less imaginative than her, I willingly admit that I will be looking out for more ideas on her site!

Question: How long do over 100 mini home made croissants last?
Answer: About three hours!

I made a lot thinking they would last a couple of days at least. You know, to put in lunch boxes and stuff.

They did look lovely. And they tasted good too!

And this was the typical face around the breakfast table yesterday morning (except for Daddy who got breakfast in bed).
There were many small voices insisting that home made croissants and jam should be a regular Sunday morning breakfast.
My bigger voice insisted it would become boring and less of a treat for them if I made them week after week after week.
My inner voice proclaimed that it was never, ever, no way planning on rolling pastry every Sunday morning at 6am for the rest of my days.
I agree with it.
