Name three things you always need in your home...

1) Milk - The children drink lots of it. It's normally a choice between milk and water in our house (mean eh?!). Personally, I don't much care for it, but the kids must have the strongest bones in the world with the amount they drink.

2) Toilet paper - Do I really need to elaborate?

3) Jeans - Because when you have four boys five and under you quickly discover that the supposedly toughest trousers actually aren't all that great.

A brief history:

Denim jeans were originally sturdy, hardwearing trousers for wear by workers. They were especially popular for factory workers during World War II thanks to their durability and strength.

So then please someone tell me why my boys' jeans, the Samson of the trouser world with their supposed strength and hardwearingness look like this...

... and this...

... and this...

Most of the jeans they own are ripped and torn at the knees.

And they aren't even old!

So I have a challenge for all the denim jean manufacturers. Before you start making claims on how tough and durable your jeans are, please do send them over here for testing first!
