With large families being seen less and less it's fair to say we draw our fair share of attention and questions. People are naturally curious as to the logistics of having a big family so I wanted a place to be able to share a little about our lives and to show that actually, it's not as daunting as many people imagine!
We homeschool (or home educate as some prefer to call it), keep chickens in the garden and drive a 17 seater minibus. Michael works as a joiner and I am lucky enough to be able to work from home. When Michael and I went on our first date back in high school (all the way back in 1989!) we never imagined any of this in our future!
Isn't it funny how things turn out?
We are often called upon to comment or help with large family or parenting issues by media organisations for radio, television, websites, magazine and newspapers.
